FOR JAZZ BAND:

‍Instructions are as follows:

‍All players must play scales:
   C Blues
   C minor
   Db major

Bb instruments must transpose up a whole step
‍ and Eb instruments must transpose up a major sixth or down a minor second.‍

All players must play the excerpt:

• C Instruments
• Eb Instruments
• Bb Instruments
• Bass Clef Instruments

Record themselves playing melody and attempting an improvised solo over the following song/ Flutes must transpose the excerpt up an octave.
‍Rhythm section must additionally be able to "comp" also known as play through the changes as though someone else is playing the melody and or soloing - Follow the C page or Bass.
‍Drummers must show they can play rock swing and Latin feels at slow and fast tempos.
